Disputes between members

Disputes arise from time to time between CAL members as to who controls the relevant rights in works and and to whom CAL should allocate payments for use of works. CAL’s Board  has adopted a general dispute resolution  procedure, and an additional supported resolution procedure for disputes over allocations of $200 or more.

Members may need to complete the following forms in the case of a dispute:

• Notification of reasons for dispute
• Notice of works in dispute

CAL has adopted processes for for complaints about CAL and disputes between CAL and its members and licensees .
