Cultural Fund
Copyright Agency's Board is authorised by Copyright Agency's Constitution to allocate 1.5% of its income to cultural development.
This is known as the Cultural Fund. The Cultural Fund supports a wide variety of projects which aim to encourage, and provide practical assistance to Copyright Agency''s members and the Australian cultural community.
The priority area of funding is ‘supporting innovation in the Australian creative industries to develop local and foreign markets for Australian works.’
The application deadline for the next round of funding is 5:00pm Friday 6 July 2012.

Creative Industries' Career Fund
As part of the Cultural Fund, Copyright Agency also allocates $150,000 a year to support individual Australian creators and those involved in the creative industries who wish to develop their skills and take their careers to the next level.
Applicants can apply for grants of up to $5,000 to undertake training, travel or other activities that will enhance their careers.
The application deadline for the next round of funding is 5.00 pm Friday 20 July 2012. If you submit an application to this round, you will be advised of the receipt of your application on Tuesday 24 July 2012.

Submitting your application
If you’re interested in applying for funding, please read through the application guidelines carefully to see if your creative project is a good fit for the Cultural Fund. Please use the online application form which is listed above.

Out of Round Funding
In exceptional circumstances, Copyright Agency Cultural Funding is allocated for projects and to individuals outside the advertised funding rounds. Such funding is only considered where there is a demonstrated urgency in relation to the funding sought where the applicant could not have submitted an application to a previous funding or wait for the next round, and where the funding is sought for an activity within the published guidelines.
Copyright Agency Out of Round funding is allocated at the discretion of Copyright Agency’s Cultural Fund Committee and Board. If you have an urgent request for funding of this nature, contact Copyright Agency’s Cultural Fund Manager, Zoë Rodriguez, to discuss making a submission for Out of Round funding
